Almost everyone has seen numerous pictures on the Internet of Iceland’s breath-taking landscapes, cascading waterfalls and rapid geysers that shoot in the air. Finally, it is time for you to have the opportunity to explore this distant Atlantic island too.
During our five days in Iceland we are going to drive through the entire southern coast, from the mythical waterfalls, to the black sand beaches and basalt cliffs, which like natural organs are raising in the skies in front of the ocean and of course, the Iceland’s Golden Circle and we will be ending our experience relaxing and enjoying the healing waters of the Blue Lagoon.

ITINERARY

Trip plan
Day one
We arrive in the capital of Iceland – Reykjavik in the evening. Upon our arrival at the hostel, we will take a short nightly walk along the colorful streets of the city. 4 more days full of impressions are ahead, for which we still need to save energy.
Day two
Early in the morning we will go to the first stop of the Icelandic Golden Circle – Thingvellir National Park -, continuing the road towards the waterfall, geyser and volcanic craters. This will be a very adventurous day, at the end of which, everyone will have the opportunity to go for a swim in Iceland’s largest geothermal pool.
Day three
Today, our route will take us almost 200 km along the southern coast of Iceland, which hides countless waterfalls that meander from almost every cliff and to Vik’s black sand beach with basalt cliffs, where the winged Icelandic symbols – puffins – nest on the steep banks.
Day four
After paying visit to the south of island, we will head north. We are going to spend this day on the Snæfellsne Peninsula with its picturesque landscapes and fabulous mountain formations as well as Seal Beach and steep Church Hill (Kirkjufell).
Day five
Can you imagine a more relaxing end to our journey than visit of the Blue Lagoon SPA centre? Pictures from this place have been seen by almost everyone who has ever been interested in visiting Iceland. Of course, we will also spare some time for souvenirs and sightseeing but in the evening, we will all head in the direction of the airport, with the thought – “I will definitely return here someday!
